In this activity, the
teacher is supposed to control the presentation.
Methodology
: a Powerpoint presentation based
on an ad by the American Civil Liberties Union (source: Broadways,
Anglais, 1ere, Nathan, paris, 2004, p. 113) to help studetns build up a
coherent presentation of a visual document. This document represents two
famous people: Martin Luther King - whom the students should recognize -
and Charles Manson - whom the students are unlikely to have heard about.
The teacher will let the students imagine who the white man might be. For
