In our class, there are two options : MPI
(Mesures Physiques et Informatiques = measures in Physics and
computer-science) and SES (sciences économiques et sociales
= social studies). Most students will start scientific studies
next year (these students mostly want to become ingeneers) while
others will choose to study social sciences and economics.
|
|
Our timetable is organized as follows:
Three hours of Maths, three hours and a half
hour of physics, two hours and a half of biology , five hours
of French literature, three hours of English, three hours of
Spanish, three hours of History-Geography, plus three hours
for our option and two hours of P.E.

We are very nice and hard-working students.
We have the reputation of being good students, and we try to
be up to this reputation
There are some quarrels sometimes, but they don't last long.
As a whole, we get on well although we are under a lot of pressure
as we have a lot of work to do.
The class was reported talkative by our teachers who have to
be patient;
indeed, sometimes, we are restless....
|
|
There is a good general atmosphere and we enjoy
most of our lessons

Our project, entitled the Slavery Project
consists in making you discover our past. Slavery was a sad
period for our ancestors. With our English teacher, Mrs Bernard,
we have made the decision to create these web pages about slavery
in Martinique to share our history with you. You will find some
information about the topic, resource pages, summaries, exercises
to do online (crossword exercises, multiple choice exercises,
short answer exercises, ...), a report and pictures of our day
out at 'the Ceron Plantation, and links to many different sites
already existing on Slavery.
|
Thanks to our project, Slavery won't be unknown to you.
|
We look forward to discussing with the other students working
on the project in France, in The U.S.A. and in Brazil on VIV@
from March 15,2003 till April 15, 2003
