A community of teachers has recently been created to share information and teaching material about slavery on the internet. The teachers involved in the project come from different places throughout Europe, the Americas and the Caribbean.

The project involves ESL teachers, as well as History and Geography teachers. This project is therefore not only multicultural but it is also pluridisciplinary. It is based on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and aims to develop knowledge on Slavery in the USA and in the Caribbean through a historical viewpoint, to question the problem of slavery today, as well as to develop the students' skills in ICT.
